Description
“Life in the Gladhouse” was a song on the 1982 album “After the Snow” by Modern English. The lyrics would seem to suggest the song is about life in an “insane” asylum. For this video, images of the infamous Bedlam Asylum (Bethlem Royal Hospital) in England were used, as well as an examination of historical mental health “treatments” used in such “insane” asylums.
