"Berehynia" is a goddess of earth and home in ancient Slavic mythology. In Ukraine, she is believed to pray for the nation whenever it faces hardship, protecting it from all evil through the power of her prayers. This dance was created to embody the hopes of the Ukrainian people, who have long believed in the power of prayer and have earnestly prayed to overcome adversity.

‘베레히냐(Berehynia)’는 고대 슬라브 신화에 나오는 대지와 가정의 수호 여신으로, 우크라이나에서는 그녀가 나라가 어려움에 직면할 때마다 나라를 위해 기도하고, 그 기도를 통해 모든 악으로부터 보호한다고 믿었습니다. 기도의 힘을 믿고, 어려움을 극복하기 위해 간절히 기도해왔던 우크라이나인들의 염원을 담아 이 춤을 만들었습니다.
