I think this was Rhonda's first Grand Ole Opry performance as a solo artist, although at the end the host did not seem to understand that. I was lounging, half-asleep, when I saw those white pumps and energetic legs striding across the stage like they were on a mission. I knew something wonderful was about to happen, and it's a wonder I didn't hurt myself jumping up and slapping a tape in the VCR. This is every second I captured, but she captured my attention that night, and my appreciation for her just keeps growing. I'm pretty sure I'll never be "over" Rhonda.
