The performance, part of the MTV Unplugged series, took place in MTV studios in Times Square, New York City on December 9, 2006 in front of a crowd of approximately fifty people. This was also Korn's first and only live album to be recorded as a three piece band as their original drummer David Silveria left the group in the same month.
